it’s not as clear cut as depicted in this video. The crimes in the main are done with concealable weapons illegally imported.
I’ve still have firearm a single shot bolt action rifle duly licenced with the State police I’m a member of the SSAA.
The legislation was to remove semi and fully automatic weapons off the streets so as to take away the opportunity
for impulse killing.
To say you would shoot someone who invaded your house is tempting fate. To use your weapon in self defence the danger to your life must be real and impending you can only use sufficient force as your opponent.
From what I’ve seen in the media these people who commit these horrific shooting in the US are just ordinary people who have access to military style weapons owned by their parents or friends.
Heidi you should give all the victims of gun crimes in your country your phone number and address so they can contact you to explain your obviously well thought out ,insightful opinion, I’m sure they would find it quite enlightening. It will definitely help them to understand how it is their duty to be a victim as it’s for the good of society.
Hmm let’s see where have I heard that “good of society” theme before? The person who crashed through your door with weapons drawn slightly exceeds the word opponent don’t you think? Maybe take a look at doing a little reading at the failed attempts to create Utopia throughout history and the always devastating results of such naivete.
